About Me
Charlotte → Boone → Anderson → Seneca
I grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina, and headed to the mountains for college at Appalachian State University, where I graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies and a minor in Psychology.
After college, I spent a year with Clayton King Ministries as a Speakers & Missions Intern — coordinating events for nine speakers, booking national travel, and helping plan mission trips to Thailand, Guatemala, Haiti, and Los Angeles. That year confirmed what I already suspected: I'm at my best when I'm in front of people — training, presenting, and doing work that actually matters to someone.
In 2019, I joined Anderson University's Center for Career Development as an Administrative Assistant. Over the next six and a half years, I was promoted three times — to Assistant Director of Career Development, then Assistant Director of Guest Relations, and finally to Director of Visits and Events. Every move was toward what I do best: training professionals, leading from the front, and investing in people.
Now I'm based in Seneca, South Carolina, and looking for my next chapter — somewhere local where I can keep doing what I love: training, coaching, and leading programs that help people figure out what's next.

What Drives Me
People First
Whether I'm coaching a student on their resume, training a new team of ambassadors, or planning a 200-person event, every decision starts with: how does this serve the people in the room?
My greatest professional joy is watching someone I've invested in succeed. The students in this photo weren't just people I supervised — they were people I championed, challenged, and cheered for. That's the kind of leader I am.
Excellence with Grace
I believe in doing things well — not for the recognition, but because the people you serve deserve your best effort. At the same time, I lead with grace and patience. Teams do their best work when they feel supported, not pressured.
Systems That Scale
I don't just run programs — I document them. Every initiative I lead gets a process guide, a training manual, and a checklist so the next person can pick it up and run with it.
Faith & Purpose
My faith is the foundation of my work. I believe every person has a calling and a purpose, and my job — whether in career development, admissions, or ministry — is to help them see it and step into it.
